Practice:

Women-AcupunctureMuch of Brent’s practice centers on the care of women during pregnancy.  Brent is both on faculty and an administrator for the Nizhoni Institute of Midwifery in San Diego.  Brent works closely with many San Diego area midwives to provide safe, drug-free, natural healthcare for expecting mothers.  This part of Brent’s practice includes both the treatment of ailments common to pregnancy as well as maintaining optimal health and wellness to mothers and their babies throughout pregnancy from preconception into postpartum care.

Brent is one of only a few San Diego acupuncturists who regularly treats children and infants.  Brent was trained by one of the country’s top pediatric acupuncturists in no-needle acupuncture methods for children under the age of seven, and gentle needling techniques for little ones older than seven.  We Love Acupuncture carries a full line of children’s herbal tinctures in sweet tasting glycerin bases that kids love to take.
